Trees from northern Sweden

Trees are a renewable resource. Timber sawn from trees is one of the most useful materials. In Sweden there are formalised regulations to ensure that the forest assets will never be depleted. Every felled area has to be re-afforested. 60% of the land area is covered with productive forest. In northern Sweden, the number is even higher.

  North Swedish timber is available in the highest qualities for many uses. The raw materials here in northern Sweden grow slower, have tighter rings, are harder, and produce more durable surfaces. We only use trees that have grown at least 100 years for our products. In addition, we have inherited several generations of expertise on how to process the forests and unique craftsmanship for working with wood.
